Whoa that MPC Studio looks like shit. I really like the look of most of Akai's designs but this thing looks 10 years too late. I don't know anything about it's abilities but it sure looks ugly.

whatever you do don't write anything on your computer. there are many trash recovery programs out there. but if you write data to the HD you are overwriting that trash file and will definitely lose all of your data

The interface. Honest reason I love Ableton is the ease and simplicity of the piano roll. I came from Digital Performer which has some amazing midi editing ability but it was very noisy. By noisy I mean there is a plethora of features and it was a bit overwhelming at times. Simple things like the &q...
