instead of faking it why dont you actually make it lofi

send it out to a tape recorder and back to ableton

or use a really old sampler

i think its also easier to put the on/off on a knob

that way you can keep your hands on the knobs at all times, and if it was gated, you wouldnt have to hit the button twice

what is the option called?

set the project tempo AND the clip tempo and remove any warping. set it on repitch, if it is the right tempo it shouldnt be pitched at all and should be on beat
