Re: Controlling Komplete Browser
I also considered buying either a Maschine or Maschine Mikro, for this particular functionality. Not sure if it will fit my needs... A Maschine Studio is beyond budget.

Controlling Komplete Browser
I am looking for a way to control the Komplete Browser (this vst http://createdigitalmusic.com/files/2014/09/Komplete_Kontrol.png ). My wishes: Important - browse the presets, without preparing them one by one - twiddle the macro knobs (or all other encoders, that would be amazing) Less important - ...

Re: AKAI Advance looks promising, but unfinished...
I've given up on the idea of properly trying to operate a DAW/VST with mainly a controller, not looking at the screen nor using a mouse. Let's say you get that awesome never-tear-your-eyes-away-from-it controller to control a DAW/VST. It would need a nice little screen, lots of buttons and encoders...

Re: is it just me or i can't find a better piano then abletons
Hmm I never installed the Live piano's, cause I assumed they were shit as most free stuff is.
Or actually it wasn't free at all. What was I thinking

Re: Hello! I want to reduce my latency time
this is primarily affected by your audio interface http://tweakheadz.com/latency/
ASIO4ALL is a shortcut route that takes away most of your latency, for free

Re: Teenage Engineering op-1
Ah the creative use of the 6 minute tape will probably solve the biggest issue for me. The on/off-keys are no issue for me, as I just need to get the raw ideas down.

Re: Teenage Engineering op-1
Hmm didn't know about the ABC-rule.. good one. Maybe I should get a longer lightningcable. I also use the Korg Gadget app, but the ipad is not really inspiring to me for some reason. I really want to twist knobs and rattle on a keyboard. But for the OP-1, does it mean that you can only work on 1 son...

Re: Teenage Engineering op-1
Thanks! Btw, very practical review.. I like it. I want to use this machine to disconnect from the internet and capture ideas away from the pc. Still trying to find out if the recording possibilities (wav files, but also presets) will fit my needs. It all seems a bit limited when it comes to the stor...

Teenage Engineering op-1
This device got my attention several times. Now I'm at the point of almost buying one. Few things are not clear for me: Is it possible to export midi files from the OP-1? With a little workaround, the midi-information can be recorded in Live if I am correct. But as far as I know, it can only dump th...

Re: Fast sample auditioning in Live
For my own sanity, I just hope for an easy and foolproof solution to come into my life. This clyphx is not my cup of tea.
Maybe I should accept the limitations of drumracks and try to get creative instead of complaining.

Re: Fast sample auditioning in Live
In 128's I normally drop a sampler on every drumrackpad, so this could result in a 128 pads with 128 samples each. This is a lot, but it still requires a bit of preparation. If there's a way to browse my samplefolders with no limitations, this would speed up the process a lot.
