where is the vst folder-

strange you don't know where's your VST folder since Live can't guess it but it has to be set by the user.
Go in the pref box and click on the Plugin folder et..voilà.

it's not about presets.... design your own sounds for more fun.
Keep it original. What if you buy a record and you only can hear loads of presets sounds?
Presets should just be used to hear the potential of the synth.

that would appreciated by everyone having dual screen setup.
would be nice to have the mixer open on one monitor while playing an arrangment in the other .

it would be nice to have a kind of single outputs from the impulse, maybe with the option of sending each sound to a different mixer's channel or to send each drum sound to a different effect before to regroup all the effects output in one channel.

There's a kind of workaround. Place all the different samples you want to use, into the arrange window end to end, consolidate them and drop that into the simpler. Now use the sample start and loop to select whatever loop you need from different clips. Each clip can have different simpler settings ...

on the user manual there's a warning that reformatting HD can change the challenge code of your machine.
This sucks imho, as it more than possible that PC people reformat their HD sometime.
Anyway I would say the ppl working @ ableton are reasonable and you shouldn't have any prob.
