sounds like you've about had it with this. I'm afraid I don't really know much about Reaktor. I'm surprised that you can't set a midi track to take it's midi input from Reaktor (don't want to be patronising, just I've missed the blindingly obvious a few times before - you've definately put it to Mid...

ah sorry, didn't realise that. A very ugly hack solution that might work for you is to send midi out of Reaktor via your Mac's inbuilt midi pipe (can't remember the name of that), and then into Live. Also I suspect that just a simple lfo could be programmed in Pure Data. But that's probably beyond w...

this will do what you want. However, unless you get the incoming audio properly filtered and leveled, and the audio is fairly constant (4/4 rather than broken) you will get a fair amount of variance. Try it and see

LFO Plugin

wasn't sure whether to bump the other thread, but I thought perhaps it might sink without trace, so here's a new one.

http://dunk.smartelectronix.com/

midi plugins, free for all, including an 8 LFO plugin. Haven't tried them yet myself.

I certainly don't know enough to help, and maybe the mic->footswitch thingy has you sorted, but you should probably have a look at this:
http://www.koen.smartelectronix.com/KTDrumTrigger/
which allows audio to trigger midi messages after passing through a fairlyy detailed filtering stage.

along the Max/MSP lines, you might want to check out cycling 74's Pluggo or Mode, can't remember which, but one is a huge pack of plug-ins, the other is a few synths designed modularly, so I would think in either that there are several modulation plug-ins similar to that.

and, if you're lucky enough to own Live 6, http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=47157

otherwise template. Or save a couple of different mappings as different sets and load them on start (i.e. most commonly used saved as default template, then other sets for djing, live looping, etc)

If you route the midi out of Max/MSP via either the IAC bus on a mac (I think, don't have a mac myself) or MIDIyoke/OX on a pc, and activate the needed midi bus in Live as Remote then you should be fine

that configuration looks fine. Moment/Toggle are different modes: Toggle acts as a button, toggling between on and off; Moment send a note on and a note off message - this is the setting you want (will also make the light flash on then off instead of switching between the two). these may be of inter...
