Im ok with using U-he stuf and Omnisphere. The only thing I miss is to custom configure the midi editor. Like if im using a 13 note scale, id like the grid to reflect that. Basicly id like to be able to edit the scale layout of the keyboard midi note grid. Yeah it's very hard to figure out exactly ...

Old thread but an interesting topic. Here's a techno track with Micro-tonal pads courtesy of UHE Bazille. You hear the 'souring effect' more as the chord's density builds towards the end of the track. The bass line is an SH101 and isn't tuned to the same microtonal scale as the pads, it's regular 12...

I got a close look at their stage set up back in 2006 and at that point they were also using an analogue mixer with some guitar pedals wired into the sends. I can't remember which ones but I think I remember a Boss delay. So each track was mixed live for the venue.

It doesn't support expresscard slots, including one's hosted in external thunderbolt adapters. You can do a hack to get it to work but I don't like the sound of that.

A little bit of thread necro, but has anyone gotten Cthulhu to work with an external synth MIDI track? I can't figure out if I just don't have the routing correct, or what. Ableton's built-in arp plays fine... Yeah you'll need two midi tracks. One hosts Cthulhu Second hosts the external instrument ...

When you're recording and monitoring it and it's sounding fine, are you monitoring the output of audacity? Why not record directly into Live? Set the record pref to 24bit and stay close to but not at the top of your headroom. Check the impedance setting on your pre amp and the low cut filter setting...
