Re: Your Favourite Effect.....?

i tend to have a thin slightly overdriven sound on vocals a lot of the time via speakerphone, ohmicide etc. Not much, but giving it that Sparklehorse, Eels feel to it.

i don't really care about films but if it's a music dvd then i will go with the blu ray if i'm given the option.

Re: Whats your guitar recording route into Live?

for electrics i just record directly these days using amplitude, guitar rig or reaktor, unless i need a wah wah pedal in which i'll mic up my amp with a SM57 (haven't found a decent wah action in software yet)

For acoustics i usually stereo (x-y) mic using a pair of rodes NT5 SD mics.

I've never tried session drums but AD are my goto for real drums. A vote for them.

Thanks,

A friend who uses Sonarx64 on a fully 64bit system says it doesn't work. Not sure if that has any relevance to using Live with Vista 64 though.

The Sparklehorse collab is fantastic. I hope the legalities will get sorted soon so it can get the release it deserves.

Re: Anyone like the band Tool???

I saw the Wool, Tool, Rage against the Machine bill at Rock City in Nottingham in the early 90's and it was fantastic. I'm still a big fan but for some reason have not seen them live since. I need to put that right.
