Re: Charlie May from Spooky bags the Ableton Sound Engine
Dont shout at me, test it out for yourself! 8) Go back to the Cockos forums, Fisto! that isn't even what the discussion is about here. nobody's talking about CPU usage of anything. he dude I'm a Live-fan absolutely, can't you read? I started using reaper only few days ago, and just wanted to let yo...

Re: Charlie May from Spooky bags the Ableton Sound Engine
well guys, it actually is true. The Ableton sound-engine is really bad. Long time i didn't want it to be true, but then i tried it for myself. I've tested Live vs Reaper3. I've routed live to reaper via rearoute(a reaper thing, with which you can route things between audio-programms), no exporting, ...

Re: different Live Configurations possible?
i've also thought about that already. Seems to be the fastest solution by now.
You could also make 2 configs and activate the one you need before starting ableton (with placing the right config in the program-folder).

different Live Configurations possible?
Hi Abes, i'm switching over to reaper for mixing, and i'd like to know if it's possible to startup ableton with different configurations. For example one with ASIO M-Audio USB and one with ASIO-ReaRoute, without having to change that manually. Changing that is not the big problem, but the Latency-Co...

global configurable macro window
...a window which is detached from the mainwindow and always visible (shortcut for turning off). on this window you put different macros (from different tracks but in one window) for faster editing of often needed parameters. with possibility to make faders, knobs, switches and give them names and c...

Re: Mixer Mode
definetely yes!!! would be cool to have a third mode (mixer mode) where you see more parameters at once (for example to compare with other tracks' parameters).
at least it would be cool to have real faders and not that little triangle which is quite hard to hit when working faster.

Re: Ableton Live with SSD Drives? Fast and secure files theory
SSDs are really cool with live. I've posted about this a few days ago but no one replied. I have a verbatim ssd 32 GB for the expresscard slot in the laptop, because I had those playback dropouts in large Projects, because my internal drive was too slow. Now the projects load really faster (when you...

how to improve your abby-pc-performance
Hi People, i'm glad that I've finally found a way to improve my abby-performance and I want to share it with you. I had those playback dropouts when I had a lot of tracks. This is done now  I bought a verbatim ssd expresscard/34 drive with 32GB (for the expresscard-slot in the laptop) and I...
