I know a few central venues that would be up for us putting nights on (without charging us for venue hire) but who'd be less likely to let us use their PA for a meeting (unless it was very well attended, I guess...) But, after a few false starts, and having chatted to Martin (mindlobster) about this...

OS X has a similar shock-reaction built into is os anyway. When it notices fast movement, like being dropped etc, it stops the harddrive spinning. Ah, I didn't know that...
