P.S. Using the Scale plug-in I can get 12 notes to a single note but then after 12 it shifts up an octave for some reason?

How do I force all 'sliced to midi' notes to one note?

Hi guys, I'm sure a very simple question for the guru's... How would I take a REX file that I've sliced to a midi file and get all notes to play on, for instance, only middle C as opposed to each beat playing on a new note? I seem to remember a tip maybe using the scale plug-in? Basically I'd like t...

Pitchfork is definitely said to be one of them.

But make or BREAK an artist?

Break might be stretching it a bit but there's no doubt that it can certainly help kick-start a career.

Isn't there one in Tips and Tricks?

Maybe it's in the Racks?

I know I remember seeing something like this there a while ago.

You can just use foam and that heavy duty spray glue on the ceiling. That stuff isn't too heavy. And yea, you gotta cover the Rockwool and like scientist said, burlap/breathable canvas is perfect and cheap. The idea is to make sure that you can actually BREATHE through the burlap. The theory being t...

DEFINITELY do the ceiling. A real cheap and cheerful way would be to line the wall behind you with 4" of Rockwool and then hang few slabs on either side as well. And then use your reflection filter as well, of course. You basically want to erase as much of the room as possible. It'll sound kind...

Those walking tours look pretty good too oldbetseysatan, we're hoping to get the chance to soak up lots of culture too :) And yeah, I'm by NO means a walking tour type of guy but, well, you know, I thought I'd make the effort and learn a little about the city and it was really great. Kids name was ...

Warning: Monkey Paraphrase coming... I remember reading a historical story about a bunch of scientists looking around Yellowstone trying to find the actual mouth of the volcano and then suddenly realising that the whole FUKKIN' place is one huge volcano. Super Volcano indeed. And it will blow. Event...

I like these 'random' generator ideas.

Can you explain a little more (or maybe even post a simple little .als) how your doing this for the monkeys like me?

Cheers,

Honestly? Beat Repeat does my head in... You guys gotta realise, I'm a live-music guy (as in guitar and vocals and live-band production guy) and I just haven't had the time to really figure some of this stuff out. I know it's one of those 'Oh! NOW I get it!' things but for me they're rather far and ...
