I had the same issue when using Midi yoke. I use Maple Midi now and it works way better than I expected. The transformer buttons are still Shite though. But what can you expect it's a cheap plastic toy!

HEy MAchinate, Do you care to elaborate  I have been interested in this as well in order to work with synched and/or gated filters and such and every method I've tried does not seem to work. Not much that I can find on this site either.

Thanks :D

I also have an Inspiron ( I'll never buy from Dell again) and have that issue. I have been through three power supplies to no avail. One thing that works is to clamp ferrite magnet rings onto the cord and that seems to break it up.

I don't know if I am picturing the same thing as you but what I do is use returns and sends to do this. That way I have a return full of effects set up how I want and when I want clips in a certain track to be effected I turn up the send knob.

I hear you on this. I had this same post a little bit back. I played out this weekend and had I not pre-mapped everything I would have been lost in all the clips and groups. :? Reason handles this very well with their collapsible instruments. I'm no hot programmer but it seems like it would not be t...

INMHO pretty much any processor these days will do the job. What I have noted for some time now is that folks who put together DAWs professionally tend to use the Intel 865Perl e motherboard and Intel P4 (whatever-ghz)e cpus. These are know for being rock solid. That is what I care about myself thou...

This thing is great!! I'm loving it. It only took me a few minutes to drop some money on it and I'm pretty cheap :) Anyway, I'm curious to know if any of you out there know how to load up the programs in Live without any patterns so I can sequence them and tweak them :?:

Submix and individual track twisties

I would love to reclaim some horizontal real estate by having the ability to twisty minimize tracks. Like you can do to instruments in Reason. That way on real big mixes I can scroll less.

There is also another midi driver software out there that I had an easier time with than midiox. It is Maple Virtual Midi Cable. It works really well for me. It is built for 2k/xp as well.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah that was kind of what I was thinking ableton's take was on it too. It's too bad that there was not a setting in the prefs that could switch it. In a performance it is nice to sometimes have a specific clip have the send envelope adjusted on the fly but when you turn up the...

Return env should be at 0% instead of 100% for clip routing

This is something that bugs me that may have a workaround. The situation is this. I have a track of clips. I have an effect on a return. In order to hear it on the track I have to turn the knob up. The problem with this is that all clips now have that effect at 100%. I only want it to effect one cl...
