I have a very basic simple setup:

Epiphone SG -> MBox -> Live

Mainly I use NI's Guitar Rig for processing the guitar sound

I make mostly electronic stuff, so I like some bits of guitar here and there.

with my M-Box... outside of PT I only seem to have one in and one out

So far, I've had no problems with Acidized loops in Ableton Live.
I guess companies name their waves as acidized because they already contain a looping point (? not sure if this is the correct tech name), but don't think it affects Live.

Yeah, "Darkness" was done in live and later mastered, Andy from Lamb did a lot of stuff from Between Darkness and Wonder on Live... I think.

This is happening in Portugal as well, they fine not only DJs but also owners of the venues.

Ann, you should be totally ok with your machine, I'm running Live4 in a 2400+ Sempron processor with only 256MB (512 MB stick burnt down... dammit) ram and I can have tons of tracks at same time, some with Kontakt and Battery on it... You might feel a little limited by Live 2 tho. I was when I tried...
