Re: stubhub has taken ticket scalping to the extrememe!!!!!!!
Personally I like having tickets in hand prior to leaving for any show. And I think people will always be willing to shell out the cash to both guarantee entry and to sit where they want. Especially with big acts like Phish. If I had fuckloads of money I'd probably do it too if I didn't get what I ...

Re: stubhub has taken ticket scalping to the extrememe!!!!!!!
if people don't buy tickets from stubhub then stubhub can't do business. suck it up and take a chance on a door ticket the day of the show. thankfully phish loves their fans and provides a lottery.

Re: bitwig on linux
Linux is great on the server, and for some development tasks. but in general OSX trumps it in every way imaginable. I actually find it kind of funny how OSX is a better UNIX than Linux will ever be. HAHAHA! awesome man. you've brightened my day. the smart guys like to use the best tool for the job.

I started using linux in 98 or so and have been(for the most part still am) linux/unix admin for quite some time now. But I pre...

Re: bitwig on linux
One path that is absolutely not short is the Linux path. I spend plenty of time with it, professionally, to the point where I've tried, on a few occasions, to use it as a "desktop" OS - in fits of ideologically-driven geek madness. The platform is still supremely lacking if you desire a t...

Re: Aphex Twin uses Ableton Live! (shh, is a secret)
I love aphex twin to the extent of being unable to talk to him when I met him once  at demf i've stood beside more techno gods than i can count and maintained composure just fine but (embarrassingly) rdj is the only person who would have me feeling starstruck and shy when meeting. If you thin...
