recording VST instruments
I'm sure I'm being dumb here but I can't work out how to record the audio coming from VST instrument.
EG I put reaktor into a midi track. Set up a drum machine instrument and want to record the audio from it. How do I do this. I can get to record midi but not audio.
Help please

what am I doing wrong
Could someone put me right here please.
I create a drum beat in Reaktor and record it to Sound forge. then I cut it in SF and create a loop.
Load into Ableton and it plays slower. Now the BPM all along has been 120 so why does it change?
What am I doing?
Thanks for your help
