Just for information I have some issues with NI plugins on a M1 pro / Sonoma. But I don't have issues with Live native devices or Reason plugins... Strange. Oh, and if you own any amount of PA plugins, their product manager is a PITA since it doesn't tell you which plugins are out of date. I just update all of them if I find one of them is behind on updates, since that's an easy choice with them.

You run right into this limitation if you use any mixing control surface with extensions. It's not as crazy of an amount as people might think. Mackie Control which gets used for all kinds of mix devices uses 4 right away if you have the extensions etc.
