I was always curious as to why the Macro Knobs range remains at 1 - 127 for 3rd part VST's. Why are we not able to choose our own resolution? Event though the range reads 1 - 127 in the GUI, if you type 67.6 (for example), the VST will register that exact decimal value.

How do dedicated plugins normally do this though? Do they just cut the bass in the side channel? Or do they collapse the side bass to the middle, which could lead to some phasing issues?

I've just updated to 9.0.5. First, I've noticed that file size after installation is a bit smaller than 9.0.4 (from 1.07GB to 1.05GB...).
