Should I be looking for an interface to run audio in a live setting?
Any tips or suggestions would be great.
PS I am currently looking at an Apple ibook 1Ghz with 768 Meg ram and Im hoping that will be enough to cover my needs..... anybody use the same laptop???

sooooo....
so basically if i get a laptop with a 3.0 Ghz 800Mhz FSB processor, 1GB 400Mhz Ram and a 40 GB 5400 Rpm harddrive i should be MORE than fine with that ... im only interested in running at max a dozen loops and i'd like have the loops sounding the way i want them to and just use Live to sequence them...

audiomulch is a "sound mangler" thats being very brief with my explanation. i just looked at the Canadian prices for ibooks and powerbooks for the machine i'd want in a powerbook it would be over $3400 ibook would be less but i can get all i want in a PC for $1900 frankly i think they are ...

ok this is what im looking at for running Ableton Live P4 3.0 Ghz 800mhz fsb 1 GB Ram 40 Gig 5400 Rpm Harddrive only catch is that the video/audio/lan is all integrated stuff should this be a concern for me? should i expect any less performance?
