Keith Floyd; Proper blokes type cooking person. Excellent mariage of booze and grindage. Still manages to create mouth watering dishes whilst getting increasing more inebraiated on whatever booze is closest to hand. http://www.floydonline.co.uk/index.php Heston Blumenthal: Incredible chef, always sh...

I find it amazing how many non-musicians use Live. And by amazing I mean depressing. How long do you need to use musical equipment before you can be classed as a musician? As a musician do you wish to keep non musicions from taking up the hobby? EG: Your son asks to have piano lessings: you get dep...

I thought it was the normalizing which was bringing my volume down. I tried cutting the bass completely from the song and it still cuts the overall volume, my guess is that if there were too many low frequencys then the volume would be vut regardless of what format you were listening in. Is there a...

(Worth the investment if like me your not a qualified sound engineer) I normaly start...

For me, my musical thoery is based around guitar music. I play by ear using the odd bit of proper theory here and there. In my minds ear, the key of a song is the one note that harmonises/compliments with the tune in its entirity. Most blues will give you an easy job of recognising that one, constan...

Anyone doing this.........?
A while ago, walking home from the pub, I had an idea for a tune running around in my head. I decided to 'sing' it into the voice recorder on my mobile phone. When i eventualy found it a week or so later, I threw the audio file into live and converted the basic sketch into a fully fledged tune. Sinc...
