I would definitely second a SUBTLE limiter on the master. Moving volume faders can do way more than compression. Compression is used for individual processing for vocals, drums, etc... not for whole tracks. I have my limiter set to -.2 auto release and attack fairly low.

I just figured out that you can set MIDI notes to trigger scene selection. Hit CTRL+M to see the midi config, and on the far right you will notice a play button, up down, and a number. Use up and down to hightlight the scene then hit play. You can try it with keyboard keys too. I haven't figured out...

I normally have conversations with myself on MB's I figured it out! Except since BeatLookup has 13 functions (Randomizer is on the next octave), something had to go missing. Gate :(. I may be able to swap that with one of the repeaters. Here is the file if anyone wants to experiment. Use three input...

I started to figure it out a little bit, but I am missing some If you click into KeyControl, and change the "SEC GATE" notes and transpose them up or down (ex Buzz A2->A3) it works fine, you can control multiple beatlookups across octaves. The problem is, I only was able to change rev, stu...

I will keep this thread going all night. I stumbled upon reaktor a year or two ago and kind of pushed it off to the side. Lately I have been getting into custom dj setups in Live and kind of rediscovered it. Here is my setup using the Surround Reaktor. Song 1 into input 1/2 (track in), song 2 into 3...

the human ear cannot notice anything lower than 10 milliseconds. I used the Presonus Firebox and got pretty low latency. I think it was like 12 or 13 ms which is really only like 3 ms.

I use a SM58 into a ART mini preamp into a Presonus Firebox. Thats the best I can do on a budget. SM58 is a definitely keeper microphone. It allows very clear vocals, although I can understand the sssss problem. One of my artists has the same problem, I simply asked them to stop doing it so much and...
