Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?
It's obvious why they have made the forum so incredibly difficult to find...
There's still some major issues with live.
I really thought they would have sorted this shit out.

Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?
Using the same track, bounced out of live, it drifts. The timing is funny in live. Simple. 120 bpm is 120 bpm is 120 bpm. Not with live It's annoying as hell. So, my guess is that the core of the program has got something screwy going on with the timing. The Pdc issues are also timing based. Don't k...

Thann to upgrade.
Surely that's wrong?
It's telling me that it's 199 euros to upgrade.

Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?
Live has got screwy timing. It's pretty simple. If I play something from Itunes alongside Ableton they drift. I have posted about this on the forums before. It seems to render out ok, But there is something funny going on with the timing in live. I reckon it's a fairly deep thing as they have known ...

Re: Music theory is easier than learnig to sing....
I was thinking, so if their melody jumps say a seventh, it's pretty likely every time they sing it it's going to be different. Esp if there is other stuff going on. But I haven't used it so I really dont know. And I wasn't talking about being a world class singer, just thinking about how people who ...

Funken,
It's in arrange. i never use session view. No automation recording, too much messing around. I also like to work on structure from the outset, makes it quicker to finish tracks.
3dot, yeah groups are good. no groups in groups tho, hope they have added that in v9

TIL something cool - Ableton
Moving a track from one place in the mixer view to another has always been a pain in the ass. Primarily as you have to click and drag and there seems to be a very small place in the top or bottom of the gui that actually starts you moving up or down the mixer. So, I found that you can select it, hol...

Re: Music theory is easier than learnig to sing....
Of course, it's not hard at all. Just badly taught for the most part.infernal.machine wrote:Music theory can be taught in a few hours, huh?
Self learning also makes it harder.
