as LFO bank to modulate stuff in Live, I have been trying to get that right, with limited success. Can you tell me how you go about it? I can get to the point where a parameter moves in Live (e.g. the LFO speed in Operator) but I doesn't move through the full possible range. Do you have a basic .en...

Just wanted to say thanks to those of you who posted stuff to listen too. It all sounded really good to me. Doesn't sound like Live is any worse of better than any other DAW. It depends on the individual doing the mixing I guess.

Which are the best sounding tracks done with Live?

I posted a response to one of the many threads about Ableton's alleged quality issues, and it was suggested that I start a new thread. So here it is. can someone point me in the direction of what they think is a good mix done in Ableton. I downloaded some of Tarekith's stuff after reading his awesom...

Sometimes I get the feeling that these posts are started by an ELIZA type program running an elaborate Turing Test on this forum. It seems to follow a fairly common format: 1 - Vague, unsubstantiated claims about audio quality 2 - Response forum members requesting proof 3 - Rinse, repeat Anyhoo, wha...

It could be something has worked its way loose on your laptop, either a memory DIMM or your hard drive. When I was still doing live webcasts to pay back some karmic debt I clearly owed, the most common cause of intermittent problems and specifically blue screens with a system/PC that was working fin...

-There were comments on the firebox not running properly when a wireless network is being used on the computer. Works fine for me. I'm often online through my wireless network from my studio with the Firebox plugged in. -Also I read something about the firebox' buffer settings, which are in ms and ...

We just did a gig with one. Macbook 13" and the Firebox running bus powered. Guitars and things routed through Live with lots of effects, and 4 of the outputs were active as well. No problems at all. Ironically there were power problems on the stage and my Bass Pod kept resetting itself, but Fi...

One Mighty Atom

Hiya,

We're now finally 3 gigs closer to fame, so I thought I'd post here. We are One Mighty Atom, a cycadelic funk band from South Africa.

We're a 3 piece band with guitar, bass, electronic drums and laptop running Live. You can download some music from http://www.onemightyatom.com/music

I have a set of B2031's and a set a Yamaha MSP5's. I finally had a chance to compare the two and I found the difference between them is enormous. I don't have a lot a experience with different monitors, and I can't claim any particular expertise, but the Yamaha's seem much brighter and clearer to me...

Not the whole world. In South Africa IBM support is terrible.
