Re: Proudly collecting music gear and software for no purpose
All right, all right, I suppose you have a point, and since I had £7 virtual cash with them, I am downloading it right now. :x :x :) Have you (or anybody for that matter) checked out Regroover yet? https://accusonus.com/products/regroover Yep It's alright, has potential, but I discovered that I jus...

Re: Best iOS app for controlling Ableton Live in 2017
I wouldn't say this is the best for Live, but I just discovered it and thought I'd share. Metagrid. http://www.metasystem.io/ It's more for quick single button access to shortcuts, which is useful on the production side. Oddly it doesn't come with a template for Live even though it has them for othe...

New $165 reverb on sale for $13 for a limited time. http://www.pluginboutique.com/product/2-Effects/17-Reverb/3759-Oracle Yeah, I saw that in my inbox. *Looks* nice, but I don't know if I want or need more reverbs. I've always had a bit of a love/hate relationship with reverbs; I often find them to...

Crazy possibilities with this delay.

I heard you like delay. So I let you put delay (and other effects) on each individual delay.

NI learning platform
As a Komplete 11 owner I got invited to the beta of NI's new learning platform which I assume will be subscription based or pay per class. Only just signed up but the overview looks promising. It's not just a pile of tutorials. There's an actual curriculum with assignments you need to submit and pass.

Re: Need small bass solution for light activation
Basslet? https://lofelt.com Cool. A little on the expensive side though. I haven't gigged in forever and it's something I would just want a few times a year. I researched some DMX controllers and it looks like the controllers with audio in are only used for triggering patterns in the controller sce...

I don't want to go to that level of setup unless there is a simple box that can just receive audio and emulate audio triggering to the lights.102455 wrote:Do the lights have DMX? If so, control them that way. No bass required.

Money is a little tight at the moment but I want to get a Seaboard Block. https://roli.com/products/blocks/seaboard-block I like the fact that you can add more for more octaves and they magnetically attach to each other. AFAIK it auto detects when they are connected to each other so there is no setu...

Need small bass solution for light activation
I have some lights that low frequencies trigger changes or movement. The problem is the speakers need to be pretty loud before the lights get triggered. I'd like to get the same results even at low volume. There are mics on the lights that will trigger changes when tapped with a finger but that isn'...

Re: The future of Soundcloud
It's crazy how I get more plays on YouTube than all other outlets my music is on (including my own site) combined. If you're targetting for fans and followers I'd vote that focusing on that is your best bet. I think it’s a perception problem. I’m willing to bet most musicians and music producers do...
