Midi Mode has never been reliable for me... it just randomly stops working. Could be my usb hub I suppose, but everything else is stable. I still love making my beats with Maschine though.

The update to which your referring... is that 1.8.1?

I use it pretty regularly to "build" my very basic beats. 1. Select a group 2. Browse through and load a kit 3. Drop in steps for each piece of the kit... bassdrum, snare, etc. 4. Throw on some lo-fi grit and a bit of delay/reverb. You can try out different kits and still keep your sequenc...
