dithering is to be added only in case of ready-to-publish renders. It is widely known that samples and loops rendered for further production purposes are definitely to be done without dithering.
AFAIR Ableton manual suggest to render those (i.e. samples/loops for further production) in 32bit btw.

theoretically the drum rack is a rack, so there's no problem with extracting the slot instrument chain, also when there's a sampler/simpler in it You should be able to locate the loaded samples in library/browser or eventually in OS browser.

I'm not into HW, but from my experience (keeping the HW setup as simple as possible), for the mobile setup the less is more, I'd even suggest a laptop + headphones only.
