Re: Two new Chill/Electro tracks
I recently finished two new tracks 'Waves' and Wandering'. Check them out on my soundcloud and tell me what you think. I'd appreciate any and all feedback. http://soundcloud.com/fasttwitch Actually, I just spend like an hour with your music in the background. It was chill and inspiring and I think ...

Re: Live Launchpad Remix.
Stylish :) I like how you poke it like a dead body, sometimes. Also, that (xmas gift?) ensemble looks very cozy. Bingo! Fuzzy and comfy as anything's ever been. c: Normally I press mono notes with my 3rd finger (that is, middle) supported by my second finger like a normal person, but playing it so ...

Re: Launchpad not working
3dot has good advice. My launchpad installed flawlessly software-wise.
If his help doesn't work, this this:
Installing Automap.
Using a new USB cable.
Uninstalling and reinstalling Launchpad Via Hardware Manager (Only do this if you know what you're doing.)

Re: Ableton Intro 9
Do not buy Intro 9 if you already have Intro 8. It is not an upgrade. Just an update.balonny wrote:Hmmm, I'm gonna keep Live 8, happy with it for now.
Still learning bunch of things, gonna take some time till I decide to switch to 9.
But by all means, Live 9 could be a powerful update or upgrade for anyone.

Re: Can't Afford Live 9 Suite
Push is 600$ of that. That is a pretty standard price in comparison to similar products. Especially when first released. I don't know why people expect Push to magically appear on their doorstep for free just because they already own Live. It is a piece of hardware (with some unique features). I wo...

Re: Decimal point values for Volume in Drum Rack
Hi timday, thanks for dropping by...I hope to explain a bit better here what I was referring to.. Say I'm in a Drum Rack, and there's a number of samples..so I'm trying to set volume higher/lower for some samples, and my options are only full numbers 1,2,3 dB, and I'd like to have finer option to s...

Re: 5.1 Surround and 64 bit PLEASE!
Live is sort of based around musicians. I don't know why a musician might need surround sound. I'd port over to something else if I were to, say, be scoring a movie or something. I don't think of Live and Pro Tools as competitors, as much as complimentary.

Re: Ableton Intro 9
There seems to be some confusion on this. Intro is more powerful than any version of Lite. I've used and abused them both. Lite is limited explicity. Intro is not. While you have a limit to how many things you can do AT ONCE, you have the option to freeze and flatten a track, and only take up one a...

Re: Stems or full mastered tracks for live set/performance?
I have a simple, gentle mastering chain on the Master track.
BUT THEN.
I have a Sausage Fattener MIDI mapped to a knob that I always have on hand, so I can tweak it in real time to what sounds good.

Re: How do I install an instrument?
This is what I got after downloading it from Piratebay. While I am capable of instructing you through installing Massive, I'm not allowed to on here. The forum is anti-pirating by nature. So my suggestion is to save a bit of money, buy a nice DAW (If you haven't already) and then grab Massive from ...
