Re: Pan Function not working
The only way I can see this being possible is if your output is mono AND you are only outputting one channel. This would mean your audio output settings are screwed up and/or your sound card is wonky. Nothing else comes to mind that could explain what you experience But maybe I just misunderstand yo...

Re: One instrument with different settings on 3 Midi-track?
Ok...thank many. I had thought there is still a possibility to load only one instance of Massive and then i split to 3 Midi tracks in Massive inside. Many thanks over again. Oh that is certainly possible too. You can route three different MIDI tracks into one instance of Massive so that the MIDI no...

Re: One instrument with different settings on 3 Midi-track?
I would like to use with pleasure on 3 Midi tracks one instrument, e.g., Massive with in each case different settings. Now my question: Must I load in each case per Midi track once to the Massive or can I apply different settings in a Massive to 3 Midi tracks? You can drag Massive from your browser...

Yeah and I don't care much for people who can't spell, are too dumb to find their own cracks and are obnoxious enough to come to ask for them on the company's forum of all places

Re: Ableton Live UI survey SECOND EDITION
It's all good, it was just a tip to also look at how people who might hire you, might read what you are writing here. I mean this thread could basically already be part of your application process at Ableton.
And soft skills matter to HR A LOT. And for good reason!

Re: Black hole sun, won't you come...... :(
Just want to say, I agree with his wife, this was probably more of a reaction to the anti anxiety medication than anything else. I was roommates with his best friend from high school in the early 90's for a couple years, and the Chris I knew was happy and light hearted most of the time. But he had ...

Re: Ableton Live UI survey SECOND EDITION
Defending your ideas is not she same as getting defensive. Not by a long shot If I were the HR rep and had just read how you comported yourself in dialog with the users here ( users that you asked for help, I might add) I would already be disinclined to hire you. Because at the end of the day it is ...

Weirdness Aren't we suppose to be different, creative, and proactive? Not for the sake of being "different, creative, and proactive" alone, no. just skinning Hmm, how is, just to name a few, Detail Slider , History of undo steps , Snapshots , or Workspace saving just skinning? Those are n...

Re: Best recommended ambient pads intrument
Zebra is a great synth that is well suited for evolving sounds. Definitely worth a look IMO. But it does not load samples like Omnisphere does (you can load single cycle waveforms though - up to 16 per oscillator - that you can morph through in a modulated manner) nor is it a virtual analog synth fo...

Re: 2nd Ableton Controller
Hi, I am looking for another ableton controller and I don't know what I want really, I already have a MPK49 that does a lot of what I need to but I really need something for triggering clips and scenes. I love the Akai stuff and was looking at the APC40 but I don't wanna overkill as I am tight on s...

Re: Volume lower on drum rack
For now, just accept the levels the native instruments set for your and lower the clip volume of any sample clips that are louder than the native. It's not necessary to accept the defaults of instruments. You can set the volume of Simpler for instance to 0dB and then right click on the header and s...

Re: MIDI mapping: "track down/up" instead of "scene down/up"?
Yeah pretty simple with ClyphX.
Just use the "play >" or "play <" action and map it to your controller
The manual states:
Launch the Prev/Next Clip Slot relative to the playing Clip. This will not Launch empty slots and does not apply to Group Tracks.
