check out The Sounds of Animals Fighting - they sample Neurosis and stuff like that and layer sampled vocals, and actual guitars, singing, etc over it. Not exactly what you are looking for, but close and inspirational.

Glad to hear they got in touch - sucks it still seems weird. I think your or anyone's best bet in the music industry signed or unsigned is to do everything possible to build a name for yourself and a buzz and start developing a fanbase. Let us know when the track comes out or if you need more advice.

Has anyone purchase the Eight Bit (Sid) Micro Pak from Pure Magnetik? How does it sound? Close to a real Sid sound? The samples they have on the site sound good, just wanted to see if anyone had any experience.
