I'm pretty sure that if they're not in the Library Folder as set in the preferences it'll be a bit of a bitch to browse to them in a seperate location and you won't be able to hot swap presets.

Hope this helps. Well it doesn't answer what I was asking (from what I can tell) but it answers the next question of mouseless moving clips from the browser into session view clip slots (I think). I'm on mac though which is a shame. Thanks though. control aid is the mac alternative to bomes on PC.

http://www.laughinglizards.com/images/LL1960159.jpg Dr. Martin Luther King taught passive resistance, just let your body go limp, don't resist, make the pigs carry you out. Totally legal, total pain in the ass, the human body is awkward to move. Needless to say that kid's tuition is taken care of. ...

Dumb question: can I select a clip without launching it? And without using the mouse etc.? if you don't click on the triangle in a clip it won't play, it'll just be selected. the workaround is to do the hands free scene scroll and clip launch, just have the volume turned down when you launch the cl...

you can midi assign controls to the SET buttons in clip view for start and end loop, I haven't played with that too much, and not for a while, but it gives you the same feel as looping on the old Pioneer CDJs.

Oh yeah, Adonis, you asked in your 'my 1st mix' thread about unlooping clips. I have a button set to LOOP, I launch a clip, it loops, when I hit the LOOP button it toggles LOOP for the LAST clip I launched. With this I can start a song looping, let it groove, then hit LOOP and it plays out. The thi...

with 1 BCR, it's a combination of a few bcr presets I made, one preset is sends on top, EQ and volume on the bottom, another preset is all sends control, another is global stuff with EQ. Most of the time I use the preset with sends on the top and EQ on the bottom. This works on Live 5 too. The contr...

just skimmed over the thread, my $0.02... I have a setup with my BCR that lets me mash/DJ songs without touching the mouse or keyboard at all. $120 and I've got mad control, I really should post the BCR and .als files someday. This is what I can do, this is all for 8 tracks of audio: EQ Hi EQ Lo Vol...

Listening to this now, smoove mix, I don't think you could improve on the mixing itself other than maybe getting into heavy FX and whatnots.

Damn, and you're still a n00b too.

You should mix yer own stuff man, start pimping that shit out to all the kids.

Can you dig it?
I knew that you could.

It's not that dangerous, there has to be a major catastrophic fault and you have to be touching the right things for there to be any danger. It only sounds dangerous as we talk about it. Trust me, there's no way UL would ever let Apple or anyone ship computers that were dangerous, they'd never get a...

Maybe if you didn't spend so much time on your hair you'd put together a proper poll.
