The rough part is that I can't really try the CME - it's used at my friend's audio distro. But I figure I'm getting such a good deal on it, and since I'm just learning, it's a good place to start.
I could try things in a local store, but I would barely know what I was feeling.

After much to do (and eventually getting my FMDJ9303 to work), I decided to go for the CME. I figure I already have a Trigger Finger, so that gives me all the drumpad and knob functionality I need, so the additional controls on say, a Keystation or MPK aren't that big of a deal. So I'm going to roll...

Keystation 88 Pro, MPK 49, or CME UF8 for Ableton?
Hey folks, So I'm not really a piano player, but I'd really like to learn. I want to get a MIDI keyboard for both for theory knowledge and for remixing capability. Think DJ Enferno. So I've got three choices right now, but I'm not entirely sure which one to go for. Also, if someone knows other keybo...

Two computers? Yo, for real??? That's hot. I'm definitely going to check that out. Does anyone else have any suggestions for monitors? I don't need anything that I can smash the doors down with, just something clean and clear. And yeah, I would love to eventually perform with Ableton eventually. I'm...

Hey folks, So I'm thinking of getting into Live. I'm currently using 5.2 (on my roommate's Mac) and I'm really loving it. I'm considering getting 6.0. I'm primarily interested in DJing, fooling around with samples, loops, making beats, and making noise. Here are my questions: 1. What's the best cont...
