Re: Max 6 announced!
@stringtapper, I must have missed that Pluggo owner discount (as it was announced long after M4L had been announced). Thanks for educating me on this! As things look now it seems a bit risky to buy Max 6 without first waiting out Live 9 to get a clear picture of what gives related M4L and all. Oh we...

Re: MIDI clock (slave) improvements in Live 8.2.4b1
Anyone tried looper on a slaved Live? I had ugly artifacts and freakouts of the looper device on a slaved Live and stopped using sync mainly because of this. But if this works better now I will try again. Yes, I tried it and it sucks. Not just in Live. I stay away from even step sequencers running ...

Re: MIDI clock (slave) improvements in Live 8.2.4b1
There is, however, also a small disadvantage: Whilst the new algorithm works great at a constant tempo, it now reacts slightly slower to tempo changes. Yikes! Tempo Changes In Performance is kind or the reason for using sync in my book :-)) Just like member gtodd876 I run Live as MIDI Clock slave t...

Re: Max 6 announced!
Any ideas if Max 6 will finally bring an upgrade discount for Pluggo owners? M4L didn't.

Re: assigning multiple midi notes to a button
I doubt being able to assign multiple MIDI events to the same function is a new feature, because I just did that in 8.2.2. But I agree it is awesome! In fact one reason I prefer Live rather than some other hosts on the market.

LOL! No, Live is the very best choice for this particular tour project.

Re: No "Solo" or "mute" using keyboard?
@Amaury, You are perfectly right! The MIDI Keyboard icon was selected and I did not notice because I never use this function myself. And also because in other software there usually pops up some virtual keyboard GUI when activating this. What a relief that Live really works as expected in this regar...

Re: No "Solo" or "mute" using keyboard?
Hi Digid, the F1-F8 keys are muting/unmuting tracks. You can assign keys to almost any parameter in Live (including the Solo buttons) with Live´s Keymapping function. Best, Jörg I'm afraid this is not true. I have the latest version of Live here and learning a computer keyboard key to a track's sol...

Re: Live looping
My plan is to record my sax and build layers of loops in a live gig setting. I want to use my M-Audio Keystation 49e midi keyboard to trigger the recording of one loop, then the continuous playback and recording of the next etc but I am finding it very difficult to get someone to explain it step by...

Re: Max for Live - first impressions?
Since I'm a longtime owner of Cycling74's Pluggo (recently discontinued in favor of M4L) I'm awaiting word on the promised "Pluggo owner M4L discount" mentioned in Cycling74 interviews. I would like to use M4L to build this live performance instrument: http://www.perboysen.com/archives/161

Re: Looper's Overdub blocked by clip envelope. MIDI Map crashing
I just noticed this bug and wonder if anyone else have noticed? When recording a live input into the Looper plug-in, as Overdub, the overdubbing is stopped as soon as I start an empty "dummy" audio clip with clip envelopes to model Looper's parameter Speed. Today I tried this again - and ...

Looper's Overdub blocked by clip envelope. MIDI Map crashing
Hi, I just noticed this bug and wonder if anyone else have noticed? When recording a live input into the Looper plug-in, as Overdub, the overdubbing is stopped as soon as I start an empty "dummy" audio clip with clip envelopes to model Looper's parameter Speed. Second, I noticed that Live ...
