Re: More than one plugin custom folder?
i've always had separate folders for 32 and 64 bit and never needed to have separate installations for each DAW. everything ran fine until the recent Win 7 update (i turned that shit OFF) after following your idea to have everything under one folder with subfolders for Slate and Izotope, i found tha...

Re: More than one plugin custom folder?
oi! something is still fucked up
reaktor5 64bit doesn't show up in Live. reaktor5 64bit is available in Reaper but not in Live. i've re-scanned plugins in both DAWs pointing to the new folder that includes Slate and Izoptope

Re: Is Eternity too Dated?
it's not a good test for you because your definition of timeless is different from mine Bach will be great 1000 years from now, but it is not timeless as anyone with a bit of music history can tell it's you it's baroque. but no one ever talks about classical music as timeless whereas pop can somehow...

Re: Is Eternity too Dated?
no music is timeless. something may seem timeless to us but... i can play something to my kids that i think is timeless but they immediately know it's old just think of what your parents call timeless and you'll get it What carries it is her unique voice. Same with Lana Del Rey. can't disagree with ...

Re: More than one plugin custom folder?
i didn't think miekwave's simple solution would work but i tried it anyway and all is good
as long as the Slate and Izotope are in separate subfolders it works here
thx miekwave!

Her productions feature: Orchestral instruments, Electric guitar, Acoustic drums, Rare use of samples, Rhythmic simplicity, No sweeps, Rare use of sound effects. Those don't seem to be typical current ingredients in modern music. Orchestral instruments, Electric guitar, Acoustic drums, are not typi...

Re: Is Eternity too Dated?
While the production is arguably modern that's somewhat irrelevant... not irrelevant at all. if her songs were presented with pure 60s Phil Spector production style no one would listen Lana digs into the past primarily for her singing/writing style. whoever produces her uses updated techniques on t...

Re: Is Eternity too Dated?
the only retro thing about Lana Del Rey is her sultry style of singing, everything in her productions is arguably modern
it has been several decades since any pop artist sings that way, Sade is close but not really pop
singers like Lana Del Rey are refreshing in the imitation-ruled world of pop

Re: More than one plugin custom folder?
i don't want to, i HAVE to. Slate and Izotope plugins need to be in separate folders. i don't care to go into a long explanation why
Reaper allows as many folders as you want
folder aliases or something?

Re: Waves Bundle Ableton 9 Plugin Location Problem

good luck!
