my suggestion would be to have a separate (duplicate) clip.. with the setting you want. set both clips to legato mode.... experiment as you wish with 1 clip.. while the 2nd can be used towards triggering a "follow action"... since legato is enabled.. these 2 clips should be in sync... so y...

since follow actions are timed (bars:beats) actions... you'll need to time your clip and dial in the approximate value for it to work as you want since follow action is locked to that specific clip... it also makes sense I also wish there were more 'follow action' options... this feature has been ne...

I think a groove engine in m4l (that actually moves the midi notes around) is a cool idea...
might be extra hard to implement though...(only thinking about it gives me a headache)
LOM only has access to global groove (same as API afaik)

1. no. (sadly) this was one of my first request when grooves was introduced.

2. sadly.. the "swing" in the arp has no correlation with the groove/s

3. only the global groove amount is accessible via API (..again.. sadly)

Maschine software is great... and if you have Komplete.. or other NI K9 instruments and fx..it's even better!

there's also a very good Live remote script which you can switch to from time to time...
