I am anti-gay (no hard feelings to the gays...that is just how I feel) No hard feelings towards you, but you are a dumb fuck. Anything in that tone from a gay to a straight have got to be the best compliment. In my world I am king. Your sentence doesn't even make any sense, so I am upgrading you to...

I am becoming frustrated with the level of unhelpfulness and shenanigans taking place in my thread. Most early contributors have been extremely thoughtful and kind, and now you basement dwellers are polluting my thread with talk of private parts, and private parts going into mouths. I would like you...

I believe the main mistake here might be that the midiguitar isn't capable of duplex-mode - meaning that it either plays or it gets played but not both at the same time. But I might be wrong. Is there a switch to set ingoing versus outcoming midi on the guitar? Maybe you should have a look at the g...

P.S. UPDATE I have changed the battery in my laptop, but that has not had any positive effects in regards to sending MIDI to my MIDI guitar from Ableton Live, though the screen is noticeably brighter, which I take to be a good thing. I am now going through Loaf-i Massassakhua's instructions about c...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zvU165DEYc Thank you, tinybeautifulthing, for conforming to the subject of my thread. While not entirely helpful, I do appreciate the example of getting a robot to play a guitar. Do you know what program they are using to get the robots to perform on their instrument...

ok, well there are about 15 youtube links to homemade saxophone robots. I appreciate that bit of trivia, but I do not really want to be discussing saxophone playing robots in my MIDI guitar thread. I would like to discuss MIDI guitars being played by MIDI clips in Ableton Live. I have been reading ...

Are you guys telling him that Live can send midi data back to his guitar and have it play the notes specified in the midi data on the physical strings which then get picked up by the normal guitar pickups and sent out to an amp or something? It really seems like that's what he's trying to do. Am I ...

Also make sure that Live sends 14 bit midi data to your guitar or you'll experience severe stepping in the timbre of each string. .m Thank you Mr. Low-Fidelity Massacre, could you please expound on that? I have instantiated a bit reducer plug-in effect on each of the 6 new MIDI channels I created t...

P.S. rbro why would I be joking? Yes, the strings on the guitar definitely do vibrate, this isn't one of those MIDI guitars like Guitar Hero, it's also a real guitar, so the strings are real guitar strings that vibrate and make sound. Please do your research before posting unhelpful messages. Well ...
