I also vote for the Yamahas, not so expensive honest monitors, and they adjustment panel on the back can help in an untreated room.

I have found almost all books for learning a DAW just explain the same that the manual. SO the manual remains as the best book for learning a daw.

I got Diablo 3 beta and forgot about Skrym.
The full game is going to be a blast. And since it has a more paused pace it's easier to control time playing.

Does this mean having to midi map EVERYTHING?
Using the Lemur with out the Mu template doesnt need m4l, you would map like any other midi controller.

The way I read it, it sounds like you have to have Max for Live in order to control Ableton. Anyone more info on this?
in order to use the Mu template, you can midi map and build your own template normally.

I would rather spend on IRL music classes, learning theory through learning to play keboards.
