Re: Live 8.4 'Back to Arrangement' button constantly on...
Ok I've found the underlying cause of this problem. I had to add: -NoVstGesturesRequired To my options.txt file in version 8 due to Image Line's Sytrus not working when trying to automate its controls. I've removed this line from options.txt and all is now working fine and so is Sytrus's automation....

Re: Live 8.4 'Back to Arrangement' button constantly on...
I figured out what the problem was. I went through all the synths in the project and an instance of Genesis CM was going crazy switching on a LFO parameter automatically even when the project wasn't playing. I had to remove the synth and it has fixed the problem. It's a shame because I really like t...

Live 8.4 'Back to Arrangement' button constantly on...
I can't get the 'back to arrangement' view button to switch off, it is constantly on and coloured red. If I click it, it will flash for a fraction of a second before going back on. It has happened twice now causing the project not to play certain clips.
Any ideas?

Re: Good Rerverb Plugin for Live on a PC
Audio Damages's EOS is excellent, and for £30.00 it's a bargain. Much better than Live's reverb IMHO.

Re: Lowering the master level to avoid clipping...
Thanks everyone for the advice. I think my main problem is that my monitor level is set quite low which I hadn't thought about before. Thanks again.

Lowering the master level to avoid clipping...
Hi, Even though I try not to, I always end up with my master level going into the red. I'd like to know if lowering the master volume level before exporting as a 32bit WAV for mastering has any impact on sound quality (compared to a 32bit WAV file that was exported at default master volume level wit...

How to show automation for grouped channels
Hi, I have a group of two channels which I have added an autofilter to so that both channels are filtered at the same time. I can automate by clicking the record button in the arrangement view but the automation envelope doesn't seem to show up for the grouped channel in the arrangement view. I'd pr...

Layering synths
Hi,
What would be the easiest way to have three different synths playing the same midi score but on different octaves? Would I use an instrument rack or would it be easier to just have three separate channels playing at the same time?
Thanks for any info.

Re: Live 8 Midi keyboard problem
Got it sorted out. I didn't realise that the 'arm record' button on a channel had to be clicked for it to work.

Live 8 Midi keyboard problem
Hi, I have Live 8 and I'm having a problem getting my M-Audio Oxygen8v2 keyboard to work. Strange thing is that when I create a new blank live set the keyboard works fine when I add a vsti synth to a midi track, but when I open a previously saved project then no sound is heard from any midi channel ...

Thanks for the link. It's good to know Ableton will fix the problem in the next update.
