Re: APC Key 25 - Need to change how button LEDs turn on/off ...
First, the LED issue is due to a bug in the hardware that has been confirmed by Akai. This video covers the bug (it demos it with the APC mini, but the same applies to the APC Key 25) and how to resolve it with Midi Translator. If you're on Windows, I think you could accomplish this with the classic...

Re: disabling note on messages for Push encoders in User Mode
The Track switch. And, no, turning that off won't impact Push's default functionality at all. However, it will make it so you can't use the pads in User Mode for playing instruments.

Re: Mapping more than 8 macro's OR save midi mapping in library
According to the information here , the softsynth in question does include a MIDI learn feature. So you should be able to do what Stromkraft is suggesting – assign CCs from the controller to parameters in the softsynth via the softsynth's MIDI learn feature. Note that this process is different than ...

Re: Push 2 - change scale when launching clips?
ClyphX v2.5.9 (released today) now supports the Push2 control surface in generally the same way that it supports the Push control surface. So, for example, you can change Push2's scale settings via X-Clips.

Re: Snapshots maschine 2.6 live equivalent
I'm not sure how it compares to Maschine, but you can check out ClyphX's snapshot features and morphing capabilities here . The morphing is demonstrated towards the end of the video. Also, for the sake of clarity, almost all of ClyphX's actions can be triggered in a variety of ways, not just via cli...

Re: Launchpad Pro - INDEPENDENT LED Feedback
For the sake of clarity, all MIDI Remote Scripts are native whether they're included with Live or supplied by 3rd parties. With the Launchpad Pro script included with Live, you have access to the interface covered in the LOM docs so, yes, it allows for grabbing and releasing controls. The Launchpad ...

Re: Launchpad Pro - INDEPENDENT LED Feedback
M4L doesn't have direct access to MIDI ports (unless you use 3rd party externals), so there isn't a straightforward way of controlling a controller's LEDs from it. You can either do it by using a MIDI track to route MIDI messages to the controller. Or you can create a device that works in conjunctio...

Re: Connectivity Issues with Push2 and APC 40. {Solved}
That setting doesn't fix the problem unfortunately. As the name implies, it just stops sites from communicating with MIDI devices via SysEx. It does not stop sites from trying to grab hold of MIDI ports, which is what is actually causing the problem. I'm not aware of a setting that prevents that. So...

Re: Midi Remote Script writing
Evidently, Argentina has some very strict requirements when it comes to sending payments abroad, so it appears that many of the standard options (such as Western Union) aren't an option. There isn't anything I can do about that unfortunately. So I would agree with the suggestion to have someone with...

Re: Push 2 Connects too Ableton but screen stays blank
However, the pic I posted is showing that sometimes, at least for me, it will add a second "Push 2" in the input/output options. And especially, notice that under MIDI ports in that pic, "Input" is in red. That's something Live is doing, implying an error though I'm not clear on...

Re: Automap QWERTY assignment broken! Please help!
I don't use Automap, but have run across problems with sending emulated keystrokes to Live in other contexts on Windows. I assume, since you're using JBridge, that you're running Live as admin, correct? If so, you may need to run Automap as admin too in order for emulated keystrokes sent from it to ...

Re: Midi clock start string?
You're asking what the '0x' is? If so, it's a prefix used to denote hexadecimal. If your controller purely works with hexadecimal, you wouldn't need that. You'd just need to enter the FA.

Re: How to configure ableton live to have bidirectional faders?
In order to receive feedback (to do things such as light LEDs or move faders) from Live's MIDI mapping system, you have to turn on the Remote switch (in Live's preferences) for the output port(s) of the device(s) you want the feedback sent to. Providing that the faders in question receive the same M...

Re: Tempo Automation in Scenes
As for ClyphX, on my side it inefficient . I noticed that when a live set has too many tracks, Clyphx is just not working. My live sets have between 120 and 200 tracks... ClyphX is extremely efficient (especially when compared to M4L devices attempting to do similar things) regardless of your set u...
