Re: jBridge - ML Shared Memory error
OK as I was typing my 2nd post I thought of that but since I'm at work right now I couldn't try it! Thanks I will do that tonight and hopefully it will work! Andy If you let the jbridger create dlls within the path it searches for dlls to bridge, it of course finds the bridge dlls it created, too, ...

Re: jBridge - ML Shared Memory error
Delete the folder "plugins 64".
Create a new one OUTSIDE your plugins folder.
Let jBridger create dlls in this new "plugins 64" folder.
Or use my Plugin Manager

Re: VSTi Native Instruments in c:\program files\vsti and ableton
I wrote my own Plugin Manager to overcome exactly theses issues. I did not want to move dlls after installation. Some plugs rely on data folders in their install dir, some write their install dirs to the registry etc. making updating a fuss (NI for example: ever wondered why you updated your plugs t...

Vst2 Plugin Manager
Now with x64, the dll clusterfuck will arise... ;) I wrote a small to manage your plugs, wherever they are Installed, split by 32/x64 or Not, automapped or not, build dedicated scan paths, containing only desired plugins (x32/x64) and jbridges them on the fly if jbridge is installed. http://www.fami...

Re: BACK TO ARRANGEMENT BUG!!!
Had this issue using ViennaEnsemblePro5, VSL solved that with the latest update. It seems to be plugin specific, ie something's going on with VST handling in live which causes this. There has to be a "decouple" function implemented which prevents plugins from sending param data to live in ...

Re: 64BIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Live would be the first app which bridges rewire between architectures... Considering how many dev teams struggle bridging vst plugins, this would be masterpiece... Let's get serious: x64 is needed, but it won't happen soon and way more than ableton is involved, too. Until then, invest in vepro5/jBr...

Re: 64BIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Max/msp is x32. X32 is limited to ~3GB. Live cant be x64 unless max/msp is x64, or x64 live won't be compatible to m4l. How would that be?
It will be lots of time until live/max/msp will be x64, especially max/msp, as every object would have to be rewritten/compiled for x64.

Re: The most epic looping video I've done
Gavin, recently I saw an advertisement for a concert of the good Peter Gabriel giving a concert in Munich. I explained to my kids who peter gabriel is, that he wrote one of my favorite songs of all time, sledge hammer. I sat on the toilet with my iphone and searched for sledge hammer in youtube, to ...
