Export "all tracks" for drum rack?
Did a search, but didn't turn up anything. I suspect I know the answer already, but just double checking. When you do an export of "all tracks" is there any way to get Live to render them as separate wav files? Or I have to do some wacky routing to do this?

I've just got all three. Still trying to sort out how to map the knotrol and nano pad. Not so intuitive, though mainly the kontrol. Some templates would be nice, but maybe it's a bit soon. Anyway, the PAD feels the most solid (pretty much like a padKontrol), the KEY feels the cheesiest, and the kon...

Quantization
I've been googlin' for days, and it seems like a simple thing, but how do you quantize . . .not even sure what to call the notes, but . . .as an example . .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0RZS-J_wh0 The notes in that track, especially midpoint. I can play something like that pretty close, but when...

"Cycle Record"?
I searched here and the manual, but not finding any strong references to cycle recording in live. I did find something about doing it with audio in arrangement view, but I tried it with MIDI and it just seemed to overwrite/add to what I had just laid down when I set it to loop. Can you do this in Li...

Re: The New York Compression Trick (Parallel Compression)
4. Add a pretty good amount of high end (6 to 10db at 10khz or so) and low end (6 to 10db at 100hz or so) to the compressed signal. are you sure he says to BOOST frequencies? every other guide I've seen tells to cut rather than to boost. so maybe you can cut the mids by 6-10db inbetween 100hz and 1...

it has to be via send/return otherwise you're just inserting the comp on the bussed tracks without mixing it with an uncompressed signal ;) actually you can do it in one channel if you rack a compressor and make an empty chain alongside the compressor chain, you can then mix the compression with th...

The New York Compression Trick (Parallel Compression)
I picked up a book on mixing the other day, Bobby Owsinski's " Mixing Engineer's Handbook " and just flipping through it, I highly recommend it for the sheer amount of plain english info alone. Mixing has always kinda been my own weak spot and this book looks to help out a lot with that. A...
