I prefer Live's sequencer to Reason's and do all sequencing of Reason devices from with Live. I agree. I also prefer mixing in Live vs. Reason though. All you need to do is connect the instruments directly to reason's hardware interface in the back section and create x amount of corresponding audio...

another way to go about it, if you have cut something out for example, is to consolidate. The consolidate function won't make another audio file on your hard drive, if I remember correctly, and thusly save you valuable disk space.

Once you record the audio into Live, you no longer need to run reason. I suggest not using a mixer in reason, and routing all of the instruments via the reason hardware interface into their own tracks in Live. That's what I was getting at, glitchrock. Torq has to be opened first. I've given it a go myself with much success. I've come across a minor bug: Using 5.2.2 (still) opening Torq first and Live second, when I close Live first it crashes. Everything gets saved first though :?: don't know what it is. ...
