Doesn't sound like being the same problem. 1) If your master track or the one you were rendering crosses 0db you will have those *clicks in output.file*. That's only natural :) 2) On WinXP I also get some little *sound when rendering finished*, but it never exceeds a certain, very low, level. But I ...

I don't know what makes certain songs load faster or slower then others. Apparently it is not the number of clips and tracks you have with them. But it could be that it depends on how much analysis is stored with the samples you use in these tracks. Another thing I came across is, that if Live has t...

If Live doesn't have to search for the skin it won't take *such* a long time to load, though loading time increased with 2.01, but anyway, just pick the missing skin from your old 1.5 skins-folder and put it into the skins-folder beneath 2.01, the folder structure changed, so you will have to go a l...

Hi mixerguy! I'm using VB_ffx4 as a shell to have DXfx like waves working for me. It is apparently not possible to have Live doing the 'save my settings work' for you in this case. Maybe if the shell from itself would talk to some API for this in Live it *could* be accomplished, since Live is storin...

Editing of text fields changed with 2.01?
May be this is by design with 2.01, but it was different with 1.52 and previous versions (and I wouldn't know why you should have changed this): On Win XP Pro I can no longer edit any text-fields by just double-clicking into the field. I have to use Ctrl-E to make them editable and additionally I ha...

Sorry, two things I forgot to mention: 1. Rewire slave capabilities are not present in 2.0b1 (file under http://www.ableton.com/beta/problems.html, remember it is beta still!) 2. There were problems in 1.5.1 with dual-monitor support on XP reported. As far as I know remote-desktop functionality in X...

Heads up, people at ableton! Though, like others and you too, I took my saturday off from other tasks, to go the beta-course, I must say: Take your time, and if it's serious trouble, take even more time to relax and come back on monday, to start off again. As you can see here, there will be enough ...

Hmm... seems to depend on the plattform you're on. It works for me with one of these cheapo MS-mice on Win XP Pro. But from time to time, mostly after doing some copy and paste in session view, I don't seem to get the browser focussed anymore, I have to use the scrollbar again. Must be a bug. Dunno ...
