Re: Korg Nano Pad Help.
Funnily enough, I've just reinstalled my Nanopad after a few months of it being in storage and I'm having a similar problem. The XY pad is OK, but the pads aren't working. All other MIDI gear (LPK25, Launchpad) is working OK.

Re: How long will you wait to upgrade to Live 9?
Current financial situation means that I may not at all. I almost didn't last time but for that coupon. Still, I'm happy with 8 at the moment.

Re: What Percentage of Your Sounds and Effects Come From Ableton
I use Live for virtually everything. The only other software I use is Guitar Rig. I spend a lot of time creating instrument and effects racks in Live and can happily get practically any kind of sound I require. To be honest, I dislike using VSTs. I've used good sounding ones in the past that haven't...

Re: MOUSE for ableton? or do u use TRACKBALL or GRAPHICS TABLET?
Yes, the Kensington Expert Mouse is the one I have. I had the Orbit before that, and like you I missed the scroll wheel. The Expert is vastly superior in every way to the Orbit. But I still found I had wrist pain with that, so I moved to a tablet, although I still use the trackball occasionally. The...

Re: MOUSE for ableton? or do u use TRACKBALL or GRAPHICS TABLET?
I use both a Wacom tablet and a trackball with Live. I gave up using a mouse a couple of years ago because of RSI. I personally find the tablet to be far quicker and more accurate in Live than I ever did with a mouse. Like any alternative input method, even a mouse at first, it takes a while to adju...

Re: The WACOM problem IS BACK.....
I use an Intuos3 A5 Wide with Live 99% of the time now and have found it to work very well with the options.txt fix. However I can't seem to get the touch-strips to scroll within Live for some reason, so the other 1% of the time I use the scroll wheel on my Kensington Expert Mouse.

Re: mapping octaves in transpose or speeds in looper
Sorry, just my pet peeve.
Being more helpful - shift+arrow does octaves for transpose in clip view (and some other things), and you can map the arrows by the speed knob in looper for octaves.

Re: Copy macromapping to siblings in drum rack
This always annoys me, as I often want to change mappings after the fact. If there are a lot of slots in the rack, it can be a nightmare remapping everything.
So yes, a 'copy mapping to siblings' function is crying out to be implemented.

Re: Sending Delay to a Delay? (sending it into itself?)
Geek Level 2. To create a feedback over several devices without using return tracks, you can combine group effects with the sidechain listen functions of either the the gate of the compressor. 8) Excellent tip! That's really useful. Thanks. :D I knew about the return feedback loop trick, but this w...

Re: THE BIG USER REQUESTS TOPIC FOR LIVE9
4. Adjustable speed for repitch mode on Live's delays. The delays in Guitar Rig have this ability. The fixed rate in Live isn't always appropriate. you can do it if you turn off "sync" ... ... or you mean something else? No, I'm talking about the rate of response when changing the delay t...

Doesn't using Automap with the LaunchPad disable its default Live-oriented features? If not, this is excellent. Keyboard macros on the LP would be great.

It's download only, so doesn't need to physically shipped over.
