caching ssd for audio?

hi, i bought a new laptop. it came with an ssd that is intended to be used as a caching ssd . should i set the ssd up to be used as a caching ssd or should i use it in a more traditional manner and store my WAV files on it that will be read by ableton? i'm not sure which option will benefit me the m...

i have a similar problem all the time and i can always track it down to a third party vst that seems to be the culprit. i say this because i turn off said vst and the "master channel crushfest" stops and then after awhile it starts again.
