Re: 25% off upgrading = Live 9 announcement in early 2011?
this is bush-league. This is the red-herring deal they put on the table so you won't qualify for the big haul, which is buying Live8 when Live9 is announced and getting both for the price of 1. Native Instruments do the same thing, only they're not so stingy and they offer 50% so it's hard to be pis...

Of course you would, you're a shill.timothyallan wrote:I'd say the reasoning is pretty valid for the lifecycle of the Live product.
I'd say your self-serving apologism would be reasonable if the same requests didn't start pouring in until it was too late...like 2007 to pick a year.
But 2002 ?
F'gettaboutit.

you might have a point if the request was made in, say, 2007.timothyallan wrote:Did you read the reasoning as to why it's not been implemented?

Wow, what a shill. And I'm sure he'll forgo the usual high-end mastering process to really drive his point home.beats me wrote:New upcoming Gorillaz album recorded entirely on an iPad.

Re: What's your favorite Bowie record?
Bowie ate a mars bar from out mick jagger's sweaty batty crack.
Who'd want to expose themselves to his hysterical neurosis ?
Not I.
I'd sooner listen to boy george and mick hucknall play 'soggy biscuit' for two hours straight, followed by a dropkick to the balls.

Re: The Walking Dead
watched episode 2, that's as far as my research goes. garbage. although a teeny tiny improvement in costume, amazingly the protagonist needs a shave in this episode. I guess he's got a emmy coming his way. watched dead set just to counter-act the badness. That's the beauty of dead set. it's got re-w...

Re: Amp = Fail
another point you two miss is that Electric and Amp are simple projects. those two products were developed by other companies, all Ableton had to do was bundle them and sell them to us, very little engineering work went into that. the stuff you're asking for is almost all engineering work. agreed. ...

You're aware that the core of Ableton engineers used to work for NI right? well when I first joined here, employees posting in threads would sometimes remark about how they valued stability over introducing products to early like other german developers, and it was obvious they were talking about N...

Anytime there's a thread where people are excited about another developer's software or promotion you'll be in there with your mega-critic hat on.
