Yeah im aware of that but that is all sidechain is. Lowering volume to create a gate effect. If you want gated pads or sidechaining bass to avoid clashing with a kick drum then this works every bit as well as compressors sidechain function imho

Having looked at my list of licenses it appears i have been upgraded to Standard rather than suite. Email also sent off to Ableton now.

@CFM i installed both at the same time then authorized. I have just done this again and then clicked the max shortcut and tells me it expires in 29 days hmmmm
