at the ableton meetup in nyc saw it demoed and it worked pretty well in my opinion. just have to edit it a little to get it right.

looking to user ableton fx with serato audio if i run the serato audio via serato sound card into my fast track pro to ableton then out of ableton back to fast track pro to mixer will i see any latency issues? not home to try it yet...or even easier, but dont know if possible, is there anyway to rou...

i edit and restore spoken word stuff and I like to keep the original piece on a track untouched for various reasons... i usually then duplicate track and start editing what i need to do....i delete time so sections join together automatically when removing....any way to do this just on one track? or...

crap..yes it does ha...guess just delete those extra files immediately after flattening

i was looking through my project and couldn't understand y it was 1.5gig with only around 20 tracks...i thought it was pretty big for the content i had froozen...i looked at all my froozen files and live frooze and flattened all the clips in my sessions view as well...i keep a lot of different veris...

Yes Just switch output to USB card. If you turn it off it will go back to mbp soundcard, and go back again to USB audio if you switch your audio interface on. Smart! that works outside of ableton....when i turn off fast track pro while working in ableton, it gives the orange warning at the bottom t...

is it possible for live to auto detect that I plugged in my fast track pro on my MBP instead of manually switching input/outputs each time?

or is there anyway for OSX to do it?

im not on lion, but im reading it should work with installing with time machine...

i will give it a try since i have everything backed up and let u guys kno the results.

will Archive and Install save all things related ableton? vsts, libraries, etc... i also have a time machine backup....when i re-install and choose reinstall from Time Machine i just want it to restore the apps and data from it not the system files...is that possible? whats my best bet to get fresh ...

if i could do it all over again id either take bunch music technology and theory classes, not sure if id go diff school just because wouldnt have met the people i know now past 8 months or so ive taken production very seriously and im learning plenty of shit on my own relatively fast but classes wou...
