Re: Best iPad mic stand mount for singer/guitarist?
Thanks for the reply and the suggestion, and the well wishing. I'll consider the product in your link an option. I really would like to find something that attaches to a boom mike so that I only have one stand. I'm trying to keep setup as simple as possible, as I will be the only guy lugging gear an...

Best iPad mic stand mount for singer/guitarist?
I am putting together a live solo act after years of gigging with a friend as a duo. I've never done a solo show before and I'm preparing my act. I will be looping my guitar through Live to allow for guitar solos and layers. As I'm just starting out, I don't have all songs memorized and also I plan ...

I wrote a rap song about the Next Gen Console Wars
Just a little fun commentary on the current debate between Xbox One and PS4. I figured it was time to blend my love of music with my passion for video games.

As I read the OP, I thought vocoding was the "best" solution as well. There may be other elements that you could try as well. Even using Kontact and a vocoder to achieve perfectly pitched crumpled goodness.

Re: Named set loads as untitled
Are you saving to your Live 8 Library? I think that's also an issue. Make sure you are saving to a location outside of your previous library.

Re: Named set loads as untitled
Any sets created in Live 8 will open in Live 9, but must be re-saved in Live 9 to be fully compatible. Is this the issue you are having or does it happen even with new sets?

Re: Native instruments new program coming out
Aww, I like NI's website. And I'm looking forward to Battery 4, if this is that, so be it. My last Komplete purchase was v6. I could use some new toys, but I still haven't mastered the old ones. I use Guitar Rig 4 in a live and studio setting and can't see needing more. I don't even know what's impr...

Re: What's the first thing you'll do in Live 9?
I just upgraded to suite (I am the 25%(off)), so I will get to mess around with Max4Live for the first time ever as well. But I'm still interested in seeing if Live can take this crappy drum recording and make it midi.

What's the first thing you'll do in Live 9?
For those of you who are picking up Live 9: I am excited for the launch tomorrow. I am interested in what you are looking forward to. There doesn't seem to be too many new features in 9 compared to 8, but I always like messing with new toys. The first thing I plan to do is convert the audio of a dru...

Re: Slowing down your samples WITHOUT it sounding rubbish?
Beats will sound like crap for all but the simplest beats. Complex and Complex Pro are great for everything else. I almost always use regular Complex, but Complex Pro sounds better in certain circumstances, usually when the audio is more,...complex. I have not once in my years of using Live thought ...
