but you don't have the real feel of turning the knob Are you saying that endless knobs DON'T turn and turn and turn? I always imagined that they turned all the way around, but did not hit a stop at hard left or hard right... what i mean is that you have to look at the screen to know how far for exa...

Knowing full well that You are all beyond saving, i give you one more example. Same producer, but so much of that scary verse&chorus thing. http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=t2UcflKMPvg Video kinda sucks, though. Again, dreadful! The video is the best thing about it. And yeah, it kinda sucks too. W...

olly +1 i fail to see how this is any different than NE-YO or T-PAIN... besides the fact that those chicks are super hot :P nice one beats  Never actually heard ne-yo, have you? Anyway, the point is that the autotune (the effect, not just antares) needs to be played, preferrably polyphonically...

When the autotune is used in the crude, artless simply-singing-badly-into-it way it's used in hip hop the last couple of years (and in crappy european dance the last 10 years), it i indeed rather horrible. However, when used with some finesse, it's the best effect ever. http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v...

+1 exactly not much originality except the silly costume. Not even that; the whole costume concept of course came from Daft Punk. I know MSTRKRFT copied it too with their Jason masks, and I think I saw this other group using ski masks or something. I can't wait 'til showing your face is in again Ye...

Logic 7 was released like 2004, so 9 is probably still several years away.

There's a 10% academic discount, but (depending on country) the Edu version cannot be upgraded, so it's not really worth it.

Didn't Apple drop the use of TI FW a while back? That seems like a very stupid move :? They did, but then they put the TI chipset back in the last version of the old-style MBP (the one released early this year and presumably sold until last week). Now, reportedly, they seem to have unlearned that l...

I'm not outraged today, but then again I wasn't before either. However, a new source of outrage potential may have presented itself: Rumor has it that the new macbook PROs are back to using the agere chipset - which of course means that they will probably work only slightly better for firewire audio...

message sent! I'm extremely dissapointed with apple... You needn't be. The FW400 port on the last generation of MBP's was simply an adapter from the 1 FW800 bus that they came, and come, with. FW800 is fully backwards compatible with FW400, You just need a new cable. even still, before they had 2 p...

I was excitedly anticipating the new release of the new mac books. I was planning on getting a mac book pro to assist me with my musical work, and to assist with video editing. However, I was shocked to find out that apple has cut the fire wire 400 port! ALL of my external devices are run from fire...

Utterly pointless. Your time is better spent whining and raging on forums all over the Internets.

Well, a new poly analog would be difficult to find for $1k, but non-vintage analogs are for wusses anyway. Plenty of antique ones available for less than a grand.
