do the bmp'ed plugins get the right timing? does it agree with Live on all samplerates? do presets, store and recall correctly? sorry to add more questions than answers ebenextra My element card keeps its time just fine. The samplerate depends on the plugin. Most work up to 96k+ Presets work fine

I use my uad card with no problems now. Honestly if you are having problems with uad gear call uad. The tech support I delt with there was fantastic. They sorted out all my problems. In fact I wish rewire with reason worked as well.

you may want to look into Tassman it is slightly more friendly and still alows you to "build" things. As for reaktor DAM it is big and scary, I just bought it a few weeksk ago and am totaly overwhelmed.

I use only ableton live5 (and 4 here and there) to produce my tracks. I do use sound forge once in wile just because it is what I am used to. There is no need for me to use another sequencer at all. As for rewire, it is not working well with ableton live 5 at the moment. PDC is not working with it a...

well I love my girlfriend and she is good to me. And I will admit that 90% of the time that she is pissing me off is because she is calling me on my shit. And most of the time it is justified but I just don't want to hear it. We only argue once in a blue moon and well she racks alot of pounding beat...

Re: bloody women

apologies to any women out there for the sexist generalisation, but I've had it with the headphuck. What is the point?? Why is it I seem to choose women whose sole purpose seems to be to make me as miserable as they possibly can. I mean actually going out of their way to. strange thing is by some p...

I Leaving low end in stereo is a bad idea in general as you will come into alot more phase problems. is this tradition of leaving the bass well in the middle due to vinyl technology? Does anyone remember a track of any genre where the bass pans from left to right? not really, there's a very clear a...

roaches in gear = bad news. They eat it and then shit it all over the inside creating much dirt. They also like gear because it is warm. I once had to move out of a seriously roach infested house and it was a massive pain in the ass. I had to open all my gear and clean it all out

for me it is the no PDC for rewire that makes reason a pain in the ass. I use the powercore and the uad plugs on all my tracks with out fail and PDC is one of the main reasons that I love live 5. It seams that there is no sollution at the moment anyway.

I leave my bass lines and kicks mono. The only time my bass lines are not mono is if they are running in usison and contain mostly high frequencies, like a nice tight arp bassline like in something like "I feel Love" by Donna Summers. Even then I eq all the low end out of the fx if there a...

1. Figure out what your song/track is about and wright it down. Put it up on your moniter as a little post it note and refer to it. 2. Name the track something that describes what the track is about, stay true to that vision. The song is not in the gear it is in your head and in your heart. The gear...
