Can anyone find the manual for it?

I'm suffering gear lust again

I'd like to be able to read actual real detail on it rather than marketing bumf

That particular thing would be a reasonably easy Audiotable patch Details? I'm on-call at work for the next 3 weeks, then I have 3 weeks holidays. I'll have time to write patches then :S I'd approach it with a simple ramp oscillator on the WX, lock WY and RY to 0, then maybe have four ramp oscillat...

Even if you have sampler, all the EIC instruments open in Live 6's simpler by default. They all work in there too. Instead of seeing a sample you'll just see "Multisample mode" [or similar, can't remember the actual text]. They sounds exactly the same at the default settings. You can mess ...

Here's how I do it for DJ use (the warp from here just isn't accurate enough for me, I have not ever found a single track where it got it right the whole way through, even if I set the first beat) 0) have a reference beat to work from. this i find easier to get a "tight" sound than the met...

if you're playing entirely in live then you're warping incorrectly or relying on the $deity awful automatic warp to do it all for you if you're trying to sync with outside stuff you're discovering that vinyl is not speed stable even if you use the crystal locked position (0.0% on Mk1/Mk2, button in ...

Yes. Just plug into one of the Instrument IN ports. Make sure 48V is turned off first (switch down). Go into Cuemix and adjust input gain to taste.

Note: The ports are combo XLR/Jack, so you can just use a normal Jack-to-Jack cable

Re: why dont they just make ableton better ...4get max/msp

why dont they just fix ableton .. who really gives a crap about maxmsp .. when we need vital features like: REX SUPPORT max already provides a lot of that (external scripting), but what's really needed is for abes to export more information and handles. That's what I'm really hoping for out of this...

Usually I've found those sections to be handily close to the end of the breakdown kicking off on a bar marker. I just bring the closest bar marker to the first beat after the breakdown. So long as you don't try to actually layer anything over it you'll keep the feel of the track.

It's called OSC. The only problem is getting the major manufacturers to use it. For that to happen everyone needs to be asking about compatibility. That's the only way manufacturers will even look at it.

It's necessary if we want to start making and using the next generation of musical interfaces.

The thing that killed it for me was simply that my core2duo MBP wouldn't power it up over firewire. I ended up going to a MOTU Ultralite instead.

If you want a good demo of it, go watch the videos of sampler on the main ableton.com site. It's all explained in there.

if you mean burn a copy of a protected dvd, this isn't the forum to ask. if you mean burn your own content as a protected dvd so others can't copy it, you can't. the "key" area of the dvd is pre-pressed to all zeros on blank dvds, so you can't write keys there, meaning you can't write an e...
