I thought it got a bit flat in the middle - from Slow Match to Sick With It, but otherwise was really good stuff. Cheers to the OP for the heads up.8O wrote:Second, third and fourth impressions: fantastic album. Buy it today!

Favour required - download our track
Folks, My band have a track available for download on a local site here in Northern Ireland. Downloads are free, and all count towards a "chart" which is compiled once per week. The site is nichart.com . I know this post could be seen as trying to "rig" a vote, so I'm going to te...

If this has been "fixed" then I'd be especially interested to know what the fix was. Hopefully it's not 10.5.7 cause that doesn't help someone on 10.4.11.

Re: Rediscovering a band years after you first heard it
Sumner has a new band on the go supposedly called "Bad Lieutenant". He performed a new track on a UK TV programme earlier this year. Wasn't a bad track.

New Order appreciation thread!
There are few songs in this world better than This Time Of Night on Low Life. It's not complex. It's just got enough of everything that makes a top song.

Re: Rediscovering a band years after you first heard it
New Order. Bought a best of back in 94. Liked it for a few weeks, but went back to my staple diet of indie rock. Returned to it in 2001 and was totally blown away. Ended up a rabid fan. How many of these rediscoveries are down to changing musical tastes. I went from hard rock, to alternative, to ind...

Re: [OT] Alcoholism. Willing to share your problem?
I think this is the best piece of advice. I think most people can self diagnose themselves into having a drinking problem, but you'll never really know until try to change it. I know this was the position I was in.smutek wrote:Try to stop. If you can't stop you have a problem.

Since I was a smart ass about Paddy's sunset, I'm gonna have some balls and link a quick selection of some of my photos of New Zealand taken while I was on honeymoon in '07.

Re: Question about re-installing Live / copy protection
Yes, you are allowed to install on two different machines, the idea that you might have one for studio, and one for touring.
